Discussion of a doctoral thesis in the Faculty of Computer Science and Mathematics – Department of Computer Science entitled (Personal Identification in Video File Based on Hybrid Intelligent Technique)
A doctoral thesis (Personal Identification in Video File Based on Hybrid Intelligent Technique) was discussed at the College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul on Sunday 4/24/2022 by student Lubna Thanoun Ahmadi Al-Kahla and under the supervision of Prof. Dr. Jamal Salahuddin Majid Al NuaimiThe message submitted by the student dealt with the design of a search system for people inside video files to verify the presence of people in the video file or not. This system consists of several stages. The first stage is to convert video files into a set of frames, then face areas are determined using the Viola Jones method, the second stage It is to extract the properties of those faces using three algorithms, namely, Principal Component Analysis, Local Binary Patterns, and Gabor Filter.Where the Binary Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm has been hybridized with the Logistic Regression algorithm. The second algorithm is Binary Firefly with Logistic Regression, a hybrid between the Binary Firefly swarm algorithm with the Logistic Regression algorithm. The last stage is the classification, which is the stage of identifying people through three classifiers. The first classifier Backpropagation, the second Artificial Neural Network The proposed hybrid algorithm is Hybrid Artificial Neural Network and Partical Swarm Optimization (HANNPSO), which is the hybridization of both the artificial neural network with the Particle Swarm Optimization algorithm, and the third classifier is the proposed hybrid algorithm Hybrid Artificial Neural Network and Firefly Algorithm (HANNFF), which is the hybridization of both the artificial neural network with The firefly algorithm was used to update the network weights.Chair the discussion committee
