The letter submitted by the student dealt with a proposal for a system that combines the location of a smartphone obtained via GPS with steganography to transmit confidential information, while using encryption to improve security.The idea of ​​implementing the application is new as good results have been obtained. The Twofish algorithm was used to encrypt confidential information, and the RSA algorithm was used to encrypt the coordinates upon transmission. The combination of steganography and encryption based on the mobile user’s location coordinates had the greatest impact in making the system more flexible and secure. Where this work provided the possibility of sending the masking image directly from the application that was built and through technologies with software to send the images installed on the device.The study touched on the use of the hiding technique and the encryption technique, and based on GPS determination, the encryption technique was used for the coordinates during transmission, as well as the use of the encryption technique for the secret text and then included in the cover image.The study aims to design an application that uses encryption with steganography based on the location of mobile phone users via the Global Positioning System (GPS) to secure information sent over mobile phone networks, and also aims to propose a system that addresses the main problems related to securing information sent over mobile networks .The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Manar Younis Ahmed / University of Nineveh, with the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Mithaq Taleb Kati’ from Al-Mustansiriya University / College of Science, and Dr. Riad Zaghloul Mahmoud, under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Sami Nouri.
