Discussion of a master’s thesis in the College of Computer Science and Mathematics – Software DepartmentEntitled (Cost estimation for Routing optimization in fixed Ad Hoc Network Using Gray Wolf Optimization)In continuation of the movement of scientific research and in the presence and follow-up of the respected Mrs. Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Prof. Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah, the esteemedOn Mondy19/12/2022, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul discussed the master’s thesis for the student (Mahmood Mohammed Younis), under the supervision of Dr.Ikhlaas Abdul Jabbar SultanThe thesis submitted Cost estimation for routing optimization in fixed Ad Hoc Network Using Gray Wolf OptimizationThis thesis focuses on measure the cost of data transmission on network for a multi routing protocols on two steps. The first one is used Opnet Modular program to get network dataand on the second steps Intelligent techniques and the cost measure are processed by using Mathlab program.The Aim of this thesis is to compare the cost of three protocols (AODV), (OLSR) and (GRP) and create a group of scenarios to simulate the wireless network design to get and analyze the result set which is used by GWA algorithm to choose the best path. Finally the cost of the best paths is estimated by using MMER function.The scientific committee included the following members:
