On Sunday 17 / 3 / 2024 , a master thesis for student Mudrika Husein Mukhlif has been discussed in discussion hall in college of computer science and mathematics , University of Mosul under the supervision of assistant prof. Dr. Hayfa Abdul Jawad Saieed.
The thesis included the introduction of a new Alpha Power family of distribution which is based on a modification to the Alpha Force Gull (GAPT) family. The proposed family was named NGAPT. Various theoretical properties of the proposed family were studied.
The thesis aims to use the proposed family in generalizing the Weibull distribution with study of all the properties of the new distribution and parameters estimation of its parameters using three estimation methods : maximum likelihood , maximum product spacing and Cramer Von Misses.
