The thesis dealt with the development and improvement of minimization problems in unconstrained optimization based on conjugate gradient methods, where a new acceleration factor was derived for optimization of step length using the direction of descent based on conjugate gradient HS methods, and a spectral parameter was derived for the conjugate spectral gradient formula to correct the search direction based on the FR formula. Also, the derivation of two new parameters for the conjugate gradient technique, where their derivation was based on the HS formula, the first for the CG method with two terms, and the second for the CG method with three terms, and all of these proposed methods we have proven that, under certain conditions, each formula theoretically fulfills the condition of global convergence, as for the practical side and when Applying these methods to a number of standard optimization functions, we obtained good numerical results compared to the basic conjugate gradient methods.
