College of Computer Science and Mathematics

Under the patronage of the Honorable President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, and under the supervision of the Honorable Mrs. Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, the respected Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah.
The College of Computer Science and Mathematics held a scientific workshop entitled “Statistical Functions by Using Python” today, Sunday, 4/28/2024, and the lecture was given by Professor Hisham Yassin Abbas.

Python is considered a high-level, easy-to-learn, open-source, scalable language based on the Object Oriented Programming style. It is an interpreted, versatile language as it can be used to create simple programs for beginners, and at the same time it can be used to complete huge software projects. This language is characterized by its high ability to deal with mathematical expressions and can perform various types of statistical and mathematical operations.
