The master’s thesis (Improving the performance of (IoD) using machine learning algorithms) was discussed by the student Ali Talib Abbas and supervised by Prof. Dr. Manar Younis Kashmoula.

• The thesis submitted by the student Ali Talib Abbas dealt with the study of using machine learning algorithms to improve energy consumption in drones within the Internet of Drones (IoD) system. It focused on integrating data from Internet of Things (IoT) environments. To develop models capable of predicting energy consumption patterns for drones, which helps increase operating efficiency and endurance.
• The study addressed the use of the machine learning method (Machine Learning) to improve the energy efficiency of drones. Through this approach, a set of algorithms such as XGBoost, CatBoost, and LightGBM, in addition to Long Short-Term Memory (LSTM) neural networks, were applied to predict and improve energy consumption patterns based on data extracted from IoT environments.
