Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. (Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi) and under the supervision and attendance of the Dean of the College, Prof. Dr. (Doha Bashir Abdullah), the College of Computer Science and Mathematics held a course entitled “National and International Legislation and its Role in Combating Administrative Corruption” today, Monday 11-11-2024. The course addressed the growing scourge of corruption in all countries and its direct negative impact on the development of societies and the limitation of their development. It has also become a phenomenon with social, economic and political aspects. Combating it does not only require the combined efforts of the institutions of one state, but it is also necessary for countries to cooperate with each other to reduce administrative and financial corruption. This is on the one hand, or on the other hand, which is the national side. The legislative authority (Parliament) has two functions: the first is legislative and the second is oversight of the executive authority. Therefore, cooperation is necessary at all international and national levels to combat this administrative corruption.
