The thesis dealt with a proposal to design and implement an automated chat program linked to the website of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul, and the chatbot uses a large linguistic model supported by retrieval enhanced generation technology, which is the first of its kind at the university.
The study touched on the use of the method of Take advantage of pre-trained large language (LLM) models and adjust these forms to college-specific data, including descriptions of events, activities, faculty profiles, and other college-specific information.
Retrieval Enhanced Generation (RAG) technology is a technique used in large language models (LLM) to enhance their cognitive abilities while generating responses, retrieval enhanced generation technology improves the quality and accuracy of responses by retrieving relevant information and addressing the problem of hallucinations in large language models.
