The College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul, in cooperation with the Center for Peace Building and Peaceful Coexistence and Al-Noor University, and within the Secure Yourself initiative, held an awareness workshop entitled “Security Yourself” on Monday, February 24, 2025.
It was presented by a group of students from the Cyber ​​Security Department at the college, who are members of the team

Under the supervision of the lecturer, Dr. Ibrahim Muhammad Al-Haleema
The workshop aimed at several things, the most important of which are
• Increasing awareness of digital security
• Teaching safe digital practices
• Promoting a culture of verifying information
• Protecting digital identity
• Empowering communities to defend themselves electronically.
During the workshop, the members of the Peace Building and Peaceful Coexistence Center and the students were honored by the Dean of the College, Professor Dr. Doha Bashir Abdullah Al-Bazzaz.
