Holding a scientific workshop entitled: “GitHub Copilot: AI Assistant Tool for Software Development”
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Duha Bashir Abdullah, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics held a workshop entitled “GitHub Copilot: AI Assistant Tool for Software Development” on Wednesday, March 12, 2025. The workshop was delivered by Eng. Muhammad Abdul Rahim Hamdi and Eng. Yasser Muhammad Khazal. The workshop aimed to:
Introduce GitHub Copilot as an AI-powered tool to assist software developers.
Explore how to use Copilot in the various stages of software development.
Highlight the correct ways to use the tool to obtain the required information.
