Master’s thesis by student Ghofran Maysar Majeed Ahmed, under the supervision of Dr. Ban Ahmed Mitras.
In this work, we presented a hybridization of an intuitive algorithm, the arithmetic optimization algorithm, with a traditional algorithm, the conjugate gradient algorithm. The conjugate gradient algorithm was then developed by deriving two new parameters. The sufficient gradient property and the global convergence property were also proven. The two hybrid algorithms were then applied to digital image restoration. We also used “a hybridization of the arithmetic optimization algorithm with the conjugate vector algorithmt to restore digital images“ using MATLAB.
