Holding a scientific symposium entitled “Computer Networks and Modern Technology: Challenges and Prospects”

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Wahid Mahmoud Ramo Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Duha Bashir Abdullah, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics is holding a scientific symposium entitled “Computer Networks and Modern Technology: Challenges and Prospects” on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at 10:00 AM, in the college hall.

The symposium aimed to:

1. Review the impact of artificial intelligence on smart grids and how it contributes to improving performance and autonomous decision-making.

2. Discuss the challenges of IoT network security and propose technical solutions to ensure data protection.

3. Present developments in the latest generations of telecommunications networks (4G to 6G), focusing on the most prominent technologies and limitations.

4. Introduce the concept of Networks as a Service (NaaS) and its benefits in reducing costs and simplifying network management.

4. Encourage academic interaction and the exchange of expertise on the future of smart grids and modern technologies.
