Holding a workshop entitled: “Demographic changes in the population and their impact on sustainable development”
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Wahid Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Duha Bashir Abdullah, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Department of Statistics and Informatics, held a workshop entitled “Demographic Population Changes and Their Impact on Sustainable Development” on Thursday, April 23, 2025. The workshop was delivered by Asst. Dr. Omar Qusay Jassim at 10:00 AM in the corridors of the Cyberspace Hall.
The workshop aimed to:
shed light on demographic population changes, including shifts in population growth rates, migration, and age distribution, and analyze their impact on sustainable development. It also aims to provide sustainable solutions to address demographic challenges and enhance their benefits in achieving economic, social, and environmental development.
