PhD dissertation for the student ‘Haitham Thamer Abdulqadir Khalil

Discussion of a PhD dissertation at the College of Computer Science and Mathematics – Department of Computer Science titled: ‘Text-to-Image Synthesis: Implementing an Intelligent Model for Visualizing Texts.’
The dissertation was discussed in the discussion hall of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics at Mosul University on Thursday, 4/9/2025, for the student ‘Haitham Thamer Abdulqadir Khalil,’ under the supervision of Assistant Prof. Dr. Alaa Yasseen Taqa.
The thesis addressed the topic of converting texts into images using artificial intelligence techniques, with a focus on developing models that are more efficient in performance and clearer in outputs. The study discussed the challenges faced by current models, such as the high consumption of computational resources and the weak semantic and contextual coherence in the produced images. The study aims to build lightweight and fast text-to-image conversion models that can support educational storytelling, contributing to achieving the fourth goal of sustainable development (quality education).
The discussion committee consists of:
