A workshop titled “Elections: Between Hope and Reality” was held at the College of Computer Science and Mathematics
The Women’s Affairs Division at the College of Computer Science and Mathematics held a workshop titled “Elections: Between Hope and Reality,” attended by the Dean of the College, Professor Prof.Dr.Dhuha Basheer Abdullah Albazaz. The workshop aimed to highlight the importance of participation in parliamentary elections and its role in achieving a balance between the aspirations of the people and the demands of governance.
This workshop comes within the framework of the college’s efforts to enhance political awareness and restore public confidence in the electoral process as a means of positive change. The workshop discussed a set of measures that could contribute to correcting the course of the electoral process in the country and restoring hope among all Iraqis that “relief is near, God willing, and a generation of our zealous people will emerge, competing to serve this dear nation.”
The workshop witnessed a remarkable turnout of faculty and students, and an open discussion took place about the challenges facing the electoral process and ways to overcome them. This event reflects the college’s interest in educating students about their vital role in building Iraq’s future.
