A scientific workshop entitled “Achieving Cybersecurity: Challenges of Technological Developments and the Pillars of Protection”
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Wahid Mahmoud Ramo Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College, Professor Duha Bashir Abdullah, the College of Computer Science and Mathematics – Department of Cybersecurity held a scientific workshop entitled “Achieving Cybersecurity: Challenges of Technological Developments and the Pillars of Protection” on Wednesday, September 24, 2025.
The workshop aimed to present a comprehensive and integrated vision of cybersecurity in light of rapid technological developments. It analyzed contemporary and future challenges facing the protection of digital systems and reviewed the integrated foundations for building an effective security system.
It seeks to raise awareness of the importance of integration between technical, human, and organizational components, provide practical strategies for confronting evolving threats, and build a comprehensive security culture that keeps pace with the digital revolution and ensures sustainable protection of data and networks in the digital age.
