The College of Computer Science and Mathematics Council held its fifth meeting to follow up on academic and organizational developments.

The Council of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul held its fifth meeting this morning, Monday, November 3, 2025, chaired by Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah Al-Bazzaz, Dean of the College, and attended by all council members.

The meeting was part of the council’s regular work to monitor academic and organizational developments within the college. Several topics related to the progress and quality of academic programs were discussed.

At the beginning of the meeting, the focus was on forming committees to examine graduate students, emphasizing the need to adhere to the relevant academic regulations and standards. The council also reviewed applications for academic promotions for faculty members, aiming to enhance professional development and scientific advancement.

During the meeting, the council stressed the importance of creating a supportive research environment for students and researchers, and working to develop academic programs in the college’s various departments. This aims to strengthen interdisciplinary integration and support the publication of research in international journals and databases, striving to elevate the college’s standing and achieve scientific excellence.
