The College of Computer Science and Mathematics conducts the comprehensive oral examination for PhD students in the Department of Computer Science.
The College of Computer Science and Mathematics at the University of Mosul held its comprehensive oral examination for doctoral students in the Department of Computer Science on Wednesday, November 5, 2025. The examination was attended by Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah Al-Bazzaz, Dean of the College, and members of the comprehensive examination committees in the Department of Computer Science.
This examination is a requirement for obtaining a doctoral degree. During the examination, the students’ academic level and their familiarity with the specialized and research topics related to their research projects were assessed.
The Dean, who chaired the examination committee, emphasized the importance of this stage in preparing qualified researchers capable of contributing to the development of scientific research and keeping pace with the latest advancements in the fields of computer science and information technology.
