The College of Computer Science and Mathematics organizes a sports morning to promote a culture of physical activity.

Under the patronage and supervision of the Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Al-Bazzaz, the College’s Psychological Counseling Unit organized a morning event entitled “Sports Activities to Promote a Culture of Sports” on November 27, 2025. The event was attended by a group of students from the Department of Computer Science and was supervised by Dr. Muhammad Qasim Yahya, Dr. Shaimaa Mustafa Muhi Al-Din, and Mr. Omar Muhammad Ismail.
The morning event aimed to encourage students to engage in sports and make it a part of their daily routines. Morning exercises were conducted in the college courtyard, contributing to raising awareness of the importance of physical activity as a fundamental element for maintaining physical and mental health. The event also provided students with a practical experience to promote sustainable sports practices.
The students expressed positive engagement and happiness with the experience, conveying their feelings of energy and well-being, and requesting that such sports initiatives be repeated regularly.
