College of Computer Science and Mathematics

Professor Dr. Duha Bashir Abdullah Al-Bazzaz, Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics and Chair of the First International Conference on Modern Trends in Sustainable Technologies (NTST-2026), which will be held by the Electronic Computing Center at the University of Mosul, chaired a meeting with the heads of the scientific sessions on Sunday, December 21, 2025, as part of the scientific and organizational preparations for the conference.

During the meeting, the mechanisms for organizing the scientific sessions and setting research priorities were discussed, in addition to emphasizing the standards of scientific rigor and the peer review process for research papers, which contributes to supporting scientific research and promoting innovation in the fields of sustainable technologies.

This meeting is part of a series of preparatory meetings aimed at ensuring the success of the conference, scheduled to be held in 2026, with the participation of a select group of researchers, academics, and experts from within and outside Iraq, and enhancing the conference’s standing as a reputable scientific platform for discussing the latest trends in sustainable technologies.
