The department of Computer Science held a workshop on “Laboratories Accreditation Principles“ on Monday, November 11, 2019 at Nabeel Khaleel Omar hall. The workshop included lectures on the main steps that should be followed by our colleges’ laboratories in order to meet the IRAQ Quality Accreditation System (IQAS). Prof. Dhuha Basheer, the head of the department, started the workshop with an introduction to the main standards of laboratories. Then, Dr. Mafaz Muhsin gave a lecture on how to fill the required forms and described the procedures of the evaluation process. In fact, this workshop is important insofar as it contributes in promoting the status our university among the Iraqi and the worldwide universities.
