The delegation of the Holy Abbasid Shrine is a dear guest at the University of Mosul
The respected Dean of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Professor Dr. Doha Bashir Abdullah, received in her office on Monday 1/30/2023 a delegation from the Holy Abbasid Shrine in Karbala, headed by Mr. Maher Khaled Al-Mayahi, the official of its University Relations Division.
We also moved to the office of the respected President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal al-Din al-Ahmadi, where he received the Dean and the guest delegation, where a joint preparatory meeting was held for the festival to be held in cooperation with the University of Mosul and the Holy Abbasid Shrine.
Then the delegation moved to the university’s large theatre, which recovered and returned proudly with its bright face again after being destroyed and vandalized during the control of terrorist gangs over the years 2014-2017.
Prophet of Mercy Festival at the University of Mosul…
In cooperation with the University of Mosul and the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, the University Relations Division of the Abbasid Holy Shrine held on Tuesday 2/21/2023 the first edition of the Prophet of Mercy Cultural Festival at the University of Mosul, in the presence of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal al-Din al-Ahmadi, his scientific and administrative assistants, and the advisor to the shrine. Holy Abbasiya, Mr. Talal Al-Baidh, the deans of the University of Mosul, and academic and media elites.
The university’s Grand Theater Hall hosted the festival’s activities, which included the opening ceremony, in which a number of speeches and poems were recited.
Visit the military shrine in Samarra
As part of the curriculum of the voluntary practical scientific trip for the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, the college delegation visited the Holy Military Shrine in Samarra, where the members of the delegation were welcomed by those in charge and thanked for their good efforts in strengthening the bonds of love between the governorates of our beloved Iraq.
The delegation of the College of Computer Science and Mathematics also expressed their thanks and appreciation to the Holy Military Shrine for the good reception and support provided by the Military Shrine by providing means of transportation for the college delegation’s trip.
