The master’s thesis (Using Key Dependent S-Box to the Security of AES Algorithm) by the student (Sura Nabil Hamed) and under the supervision of Assistant Professor Dr. Sufyan Salem Mahmoud Al-Dabbagh

• The thesis submitted by the student dealt with enhancing the security of the (ADVANCED ENCRYPTION STANDARD – AES) algorithm for encryption by making some modifications to the S-Box instead of using a fixed S-Box.
• The study also touched on the use of themethod of dividing image data into small groups and then applying a series of operations to each group Using the secret encryption key through several rounds.
• The study aims to ensure secure communication between the two parties, as encryption depends on a vital component, which is the symmetric key, which plays a pivotal role in encryption and decryption processes.
