School Visit
The Distinguished Secondary School visited the University of Mosul / College of Computer Science and Mathematics
In continuation of the distinguished scientific activity of the college and within the principle of cooperation between the University of Mosul and the Nineveh Education Directorate, the college hosted the students of the Distinguished Secondary School on Monday morning, November 18, 2024. During the visit, they were introduced to the college’s departments and laboratories. An introductory lecture was given to the students about cybersecurity and artificial intelligence, which are considered among the most important specializations in the current era to reach a sustainable future. An explanation was provided that included an introduction to automated education and natural language processing.
They were also introduced to the importance of cybersecurity to achieve information protection. During the visit, the students attended a scientific symposium entitled (Artificial Intelligence, the Alphabet of Tomorrow: Challenges of Reality to Reach a Sustainable Future) which was held at the Scientific and Literary Forum. The symposium addressed modern topics in the field of artificial intelligence and during it, the students had the opportunity to meet with the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Qusay Kamal Al-Din Al-Ahmadi, and present their ideas and talents.
