To make Software Department a distinguished academic platform through the services it provides to the university and the community in the field of software analysis, design, and implementation of various types, helping to prepare qualified and trained national talent
Mission
To provide students with the concepts and techniques that keep pace with scientific developments in the construction and maintenance of large and complex, high-quality software systems within the context of software engineering, thus meeting the requirements of the labor market. Focusing on creativity and publishing scientific research in solid scientific fields within Scopus and Clarivate databases
Objectives:
- To prepare specialized academic cadres in the field of designing and building multi-service software systems to meet the requirements of government institutions and the labor market.
- To prepare qualified graduates to work in building software engineering systems and provide them with the appropriate skills to maintain and develop them, in conjunction with related disciplines.
- Equip students with the appropriate skills to find alternative solutions to problems and conduct studies in various fields to serve the requirements of state institutions and the labor market, while emphasizing the solidity of the practical aspect.
- Disseminate knowledge in all areas of software and work to build systems that meet requirements of state institutions to achieve the concept of e-governance.
