Master’s Thesis in the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Department of Mathematics…

A master’s thesis entitled “Application of the Partition Theory to Calculate the Chemical Displacement of the Carbon-13 Nuclei of Cyclohexane Derivatives” was discussed at the College of Education for Pure Science at the University of Mosul on Monday, June 16, 2025. The discussion was attended by the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Jassim Fatehi Ali, and a number of faculty members from the department.
The study, presented by the student Safa Ali Muhammad Hussein from the Department of Mathematics, addressed a type of integration between the chemical formulas of specific compounds and the partition theory, specifically with one type of the theory that plays a fundamental role in the last two decades, called the e-type abacus. A model suitable for the integration process was presented, and then processed using mathematical and industrial methods. Another model, more useful in the field of mathematics, was presented, called the double-decker abacus. This model was applied for the first time and will play a significant role in this field. The discussion committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Akram Salem Mohammed, with Assistant Professor Dr. Zubaida Mohammed Ibrahim and Assistant Professor Dr. Baydaa Suhail Abdullah as members, and Professor Dr. Ammar Siddeeq Mahmoud and Professor Dr. Imad Abdul-Ilah Saleh as both members and supervisors.
The Dean of the College presented a letter of thanks and appreciation to Professor Dr. Akram Salem Mohammed from the College of Computer Science and Mathematics, Tikrit University, for his travel and participation in the student’s discussion.
The master’s thesis was accepted. Congratulations to the student and her supervisors on this academic achievement.
