Workshop on the Impact of Administrative and Financial Corruption on Economic and Social Development…

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Science, Assistant Professor Dr. Jassim Fatehi Ali, In fulfillment of the fourth goal of the Sustainable Development Goals (quality education) the College of Education for Pure Science held a workshop entitled “The Impact of Administrative and Financial Corruption on Economic and Social Development” on Sunday, June 22, 2025. The workshop was attended by the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, the Dean of the College, Assist. Prof. Dr. Jassim Fatehi Ali, Assistant Dean for Administrative Affairs, Assist. Prof. Dr. Younis Saadi Saeed, and a number of the faculty members. Lecturer Dr. Noor Taha Sultan and Assistant Lecturer Lubna Muhammad Ahmed delivered the workshop. The workshop aimed to shed light on the devastating effects of administrative and financial corruption in hindering economic growth and undermining social justice, and to raise participants’ awareness of the mechanisms of this impact and its dangerous consequences on the comprehensive development.
