Chemical, Biological, and Nuclear Radiological Safety and Security Course / Skills Development for Graduate Students at the University of Mosul…

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, the Chemical, Biological, and Radiological Safety and Security Division held the 49th course in the field of Chemical, Biological, and Nuclear Radiological Safety and Security from August 4-7, 2025, in Ibn Al-Haytham Hall in the College of Education for Pure Sciences. The course was held for graduate students who completed the preparatory year and are going to enter the laboratories and begin the practical part of their research. This course was in accordance with the directives of the Ministry of Higher Education to hold workshops and courses to develop the skills of graduate students.

10. Lecturer Dr. Reem Nawaf Hamdoun Al-Sawaf, Head of the Chemical Activities and Training Unit / Presidency of the University of Mosul.
The number of attendees was (101) master’s students and doctoral candidates.
This course is one of a series of courses held at our university annually and is considered a fundamental element of successful laboratory work. Its primary goal is to protect laboratory workers, as well as to protect scientific laboratories and equipment from improper use. This is in the service of our dear university and country.
