Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Ghaleb Sheikho Al-Azzawi, a lecturer in our college and a specialist in industrial chemistry – polymers, published a scientific research paper in Nature, one of the best international publishing houses, in collaboration with a number of researchers from the University of Jomo, Sulaimani, Princess Noura bint Abdulrahman University, Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, and Khalifa University of Science and Technology, United Arab Emirates. The research, titled “Improved optical characteristics of PEO polymer integrated with graphene oxide,” was published in the journal Scientific Reports, which publishes its issues in the international publishing house Nature. The journal has an impact factor of 3.9 and a Cite Score of 6.7. The journal is classified among the first quarter (Q1) journals in the Scopus and Clarivate databases.
