In a new academic achievement added to the record of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Assistant Professor Dr. Yasser Hussein Mohammed, a faculty member in the Physics Department, has published a joint scientific paper in the field of low-dimensional nanomaterials in the international journal “Journal of Materials Science: Materials in Electronics,” published by the global publishing house Springer Nature.

The journal is considered one of the most prestigious scientific outlets in its field, boasting an impact factor of 2.8 and a CiteScore of 5.1. It is ranked in the second quartile (Q2) and indexed in the international databases Scopus and Clarivate Analytics.

This research is the culmination of distinguished scientific efforts and reflects the commitment of the college’s faculty to contributing to the production of high-quality knowledge that keeps pace with global developments in applied physics and nanotechnology, thus enhancing the university’s standing in international rankings.
