The Department of Mathematics held a training course entitled “Non-Associative Algebras”
Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Dr. Jassim Fathi Ali, the Department of Mathematics at the College of Education for Pure Sciences held a training course entitled “Non-Associative Algebras” from March 1-5, 2026. The course was presented by Professor Dr. Amer Abdul-Ilah Mohammed and Assistant Professor Dr. Baidaa Suhail Abdullah.
The course focused on how to transition from a non-associative algebra to an associative algebra called the factorial algebra, and provided applications of this type of algebra in the field of functional analysis.
