The College of Education for Pure Science held a workshop entitled “Compliance with Laws and Professional Standards for Students of the Department of Life Sciences, College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Mosul, and Professional Ethics in Applying the Student Discipline Law in Institutions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research…”

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Education for Pure Sciences, Professor Dr. Jassim Fathi Ali, the College of Education for Pure Sciences held a workshop entitled “Compliance with Laws and Professional Standards for Students of the Department of Life Sciences, College of Education for Pure Sciences, University of Mosul, and Professional Ethics in Applying the Student Discipline Law in Institutions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. 160 of 2007, as amended for the academic year 2025/2026.” The workshop took place on Monday, March 9, 2026, and was presented by Assistant Professor Dr. Ziad Bader Hamad, Head of the Department of Life Sciences; Legal Advisor Mohammed Subaih Yousef, Head of the Legal Division; Mr. Ahmed Talal Sultan; and Assistant Lecturer Ihab Yassin Mohammed. The workshop aimed to promote the application of the Student Discipline Law in Institutions of the Ministry of Higher Education and Scientific Research No. 160 of 2007. The 2007 amendment reflects the Ministry’s and its departments’ efforts to preserve the reputation of Iraqi universities for students and their families, the honorable sons of this authentic Iraqi society in this great country, and to raise awareness among university students about the importance of adhering to the laws imposed upon them by complying with the rules and principles established to serve the public interest.
