Trials and calamities of the caliphs in the Abbasid era (247_656 AH / 861_1258 AD))( An analytical study )

On 19/12/2022, The Department of History at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Mosul discussed a doctoral dissertation on:
((Trials and calamities of the caliphs in the Abbasid era (247_656 AH / 861_1258 AD))( An analytical study ).
Part of it was attended by Prof. Dr. Hazim Thannoon Ismail Al Sabawi,The Dean of the College, and a number of college teachers.
The thesis presented by the student (Qutaiba Ahmed Abdullah Daabu Al-Sharabi) in the Department of History as it dealt with the tribulations and calamities of the caliphs in the Abbasid era and monitored it for a period of time that exceeded the four centuries of the life of the Abbasid state.
The study mentioned precise details about these tribulations and calamities and stood on their merits to know their reasons for the various historical periods and through the dominant forces in the administration of the caliphate.
The study aims to shed light on these tribulations and calamities and to stand on their most important results, while giving each cause its own reflection.
The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Qasim Hasan Abbas Al-Shaman and the membership of each Prof. Dr. Shakib Rashid Bashir ,Prof. Dr. Athal Ibrahim Hussein, Asst Prof. Dr. Muhammad Nizar Hamid
