Emotional sensitivity and its relationship to counter-attraction among students of the University of Mosul
On Tuesday, 3rd. of January, 2023, the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences at the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis on:
(Emotional sensitivity and its relationship to counter-attraction among students of the University of Mosul). Part of it was attended by Prof. Dr. Hazim Dhannoon Ismail Al-Sabawi, the Dean of the College, and a number of College members.
The thesis submitted by the student (Muhammad Faisal Abdel Qader) in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences as it dealt with emotional sensitivity, which means the ability to express sympathy, intensity and fertility of feeling, which is represented by tendencies to make emotional bonds with people. It also dealt with counter- attraction, which means the individual seeks to reject and contradict some of the ideas, opinions, sayings, and beliefs of others who do not agree with his/ her perceptions and facts in order to assert him- herself, and useing logical thinking that may be convinced of what is presented to him/ her.
The study explored the relationship between emotional sensitivity and counter-attraction among Mosul University students.
