Collective Iftar for Dormitory Students During Ramadan

The University of Mosul Organizes Collective Iftar for Dormitory Students During Ramadan
As part of its continuous efforts to support students, especially those residing outside the city of Mosul and from other provinces,
the Presidency of the University of Mosul, led by Professor Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi,
and the Dean of the College of Education for Humanities, Professor Dr. Hazim Dhanoun Ismail Al-Sabawi,
alongside the Assistant Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs,
organized a collective iftar initiative for students living in dormitories.
The initiative, held during the blessed month of Ramadan, included the distribution of 600 iftar meals and falls under the framework of supporting the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).
This annual tradition reflects the college’s commitment to checking on the students’ well-being, especially during Ramadan, by engaging with them personally and responding to their needs.
Students expressed their appreciation and gratitude for this generous gesture, highlighting the spirit of solidarity and warmth that filled the evening. The iftar brought together students, faculty members, and staff in a familial atmosphere that fostered unity and compassion.
The university community collectively wished for continued progress and success in serving the educational mission of Iraq.
