College of Education for Humanities

The College of Education for Humanities at the University of Mosul discussed a master’s thesis titled “Muntakhab Thawab Al-A‘mal by Abu Al-Sheikh Al-Asbahani (d. 369 AH): From the Chapter on Reflecting on the Blessings of Allah Almighty to the Chapter on Entering a Land Without a Sultan – A Study and Verification” on Thursday, January 23, 2025.

The discussion was attended by Professor Hazim Dhanoon Ismail Al-Sabawi, the Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Mudhar Haidar Al-Yuzbaki, the Head of the Department, and several faculty members from the college.

The thesis, submitted by Alaa Ghanem Qasim Al-Jubouri from the Department of Quranic Sciences and Islamic Education, focused on the study and verification of the manuscript Muntakhab Thawab Al-A‘mal by Abu Al-Sheikh Al-Asbahani (d. 369 AH), covering the chapters from “Reflecting on the Blessings of Allah Almighty” to “Entering a Land Without a Sultan.”

The committee was chaired by Professor Dr. Abdul Wahab Muhammad Ali Al-Adwani, with the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Firas Fayyadh Youssef and Assistant Professor Dr. Ali Nihad Khalil and Professor Dr. Ammar Jassim Muhammad, the latter being supervisor of the thesis.
