(Over excitability and its Relation with Mindfulness among the students of the university of Mosul)

On Thursday 9/22/2022, the Department of Educational and
Psychological Sciences at the College of Education for Humanities,
University of Mosul discussed Master’s thesis:
(Over excitability and its Relation with Mindfulness among the
students of the university of Mosul) presented by the student
Mohammed Muzahim Muhammad Al-Hasawy.
A part of it was attended by Prof. Dr. Hazim Thanon Ismail Al-Sabawi;
the dean of the college and a number of college teachers.
The thesis dealt with the excitability and its relationship to mental
alertness among students of the University of Mosul.
The study introduced the students the concept of super arousal with its
five patterns, and its role in developing their personalities in the
cognitive, emotional, social aspects, and its great impact on developing
their thinking pattern. Besides, the mental alertness, the ability to pay
attention, focus and integrate into more than one work consciously .
The study aims to Identifying the level of super arousal and the level of
mental alertness among university students. And, the differences in
the level of super-excitability and the level of mental alertness among
university students according to the two variables :
a. Gender (male/female) b. Specialization (scientific / humanitarian )
The relationship between the level of super arousal and the level of
mental alertness among university students.
The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Sabah Marshoud
Manoukh. The membership of associate Asst.Prof. Dr. Ahmed
Wadallah Hamdallah, and Asst Professor Dr. Saad Ghanem, Under the
supervision and membership of Prof. Dr. Ahmed Younis Al-Bajari
