“Psychological Resilience and its Relationship to Social Competence in the Mosul University students”
On Tuesday, 20 September 2022, The Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences, College of Education for Humanities, University of Mosul had discussed a master’s thesis on “Psychological Resilience and its Relationship to Social Competence in the Mosul University students”.
Prof. Dr. Hazim Thanon Ismael Al-Sabawi, the Dean of the College, and a number of the college’s Professors attended a part of the discussion.
The thesis was presented by the student (Mohammed Qazi Jasem Al-Hadidi) in the Department of Educational and Psychological Sciences.
The study touched upon two variables (psychological Resilience) and (social competence) of Mosul University students. The study aimed to identify the level of psychological Resilience of the Mosul University students, the level of social competence of the same students, the significance of differences in psychological flexibility according to the variables: (study specialization, gender, level of the study), as well as the significance of differences in social competence according to variables: (gender, specialization, level of the study). The statistical indication of the relationship between psychological Resilience and social competence among members of the research sample.
The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Nada Fattah Zidane and members of Asst. Prof. Dr. Azahar Mohamed Majeed and Asst. Prof. Dr. Ali Suleiman Hassan under the supervision and membership of Asst Prof. Dr. Tanhid Adel Fadil.
