(The Impact of the 5Es method on Preparatory School Students’ Achievement and Motivation to Learn English)

On Tuesday 20/9/2022, the Department of English at the College of Education for Humanities, University of Mosul had discussed a master’s thesis on (The Impact of the 5Es method on Preparatory School Students’ Achievement and Motivation to Learn English).
Prof. Dr. Hazim Thanon Ismael Al-Sabawi, the Dean of the College, and a number of the college’s Professors attended a part of the discussion.
The thesis was presented by the student Zainab Muthanna Abdul-Aziz Maysir in the Department of English and dealt with an attempt to prove the effectiveness of the 5Es method in increasing the academic achievement and motivation of Iraqi female students in the preparatory stage.
The thesis touched a definition of the method, its theoretical basis, some previous studies which used this method, the research methodology, results and some recommendations.
The thesis aimed to identify the effect of the 5Es method on the achievement of female students in the fourth preparatory scientific stage and the extent of its impact on their motivation to learn English.
The discussion committee was chaired by Prof. Dr. Nagham Q. Yahya and the members of Associate: Asst. Prof. Dr. Najwa Y. Ismael, and Asst. Prof. Wassan A. Rashid, and under the supervision and membership of Asst. Prof. Dr. Shoaib S. Al-Fahady
