College of Education for Humanities

The department was established in 1978. It contributes to accepting graduate students from preparatory school in its scientific and literary branches and the top graduates from institutes for male and female teachers with academic qualifications. The department grants graduates a bachelor’s degree in educational and psychological sciences. The first class for preparatory studies students graduated in 1982. The department started studies since 2007/2008, and the introduction of postgraduate studies for master’s studies in 1986/1987, doctorate studies in 1995/1996, and diploma studies in 1999/2000. The department aims to prepare teachers to teach in male and female teachers’ institutes, and educational counselors in secondary schools, in addition to working in social welfare institutions. And the courts. The study system is the annual system, while the system followed in postgraduate studies is the semester system (courses).
