Citizens Affairs Unit in the College

The unit is administratively affiliated with the Office of the Dean and is responsible for handling all requests and complaints from citizens, including faculty members, staff, students, and visitors. It adopts the principle of fostering cooperation between the college administration and citizens to facilitate processes and resolve any difficulties encountered during visits. It serves as the primary channel for receiving complaints, inquiries, suggestions, and grievances, aiming to enhance trust and strengthen the relationship between citizens and the college.


Tasks of the Citizens Affairs Unit:

  1. Receiving citizens, listening to their complaints, and guiding them to the relevant departments that address their requests.
  2. Receiving all requests directed to the Dean, presenting them for review, and obtaining the Dean’s feedback.
  3. Directly supervising the organization of meetings with the Dean.
  4. Recording citizen requests electronically in the Citizen’s Government e-System program via the form available on the Ministry’s website (Citizen’s Government e-System), which allows citizens to track their requests through the program.
  5. Communicating with citizens regarding the actions taken on their requests or complaints via phone, email, or in-person follow-up.
  6. Receiving citizens’ requests via phone or email and referring them to the relevant departments.
  7. Submitting statistics on meetings conducted by the Dean to the Citizens Affairs Division at the university.
  8. Raising awareness about the role of the Citizens Affairs Unit through classified announcements, brochures, flyers, and seminars.

Objectives of the Citizens Affairs Unit:

  1. Serving as the interface of the college.
  2. Providing the best possible services to all citizens.
  3. Maintaining direct and continuous communication with relevant departments to address requests.
  4. Representing a civilized approach within modern societies and institutional governance.

Request Submission Process:

  1. The request must be written clearly and specifically, with the subject and title of the request clearly defined.
  2. Include the sender’s full name, address, phone number, email, workplace, and academic department to facilitate a response. Requests lacking the required information will be disregarded.
  3. Attachments should not be included with the request (they must be sent via email).
