Community Service

Community service is one of the humanitarian professions that aims to enhance the competence of individuals and, at the same time, improve the effectiveness of education through various educational practices that aim to reach the learner. It deals with the learner as an individual and as a member of a group simultaneously. It focuses on their individual development and the development of the group within a community or a local environment. It is a tool through which the well-being of society is achieved. This tool relies on investing in and motivating the existing human energy to work and build. It works on connecting the individual with the school or community service center and the surrounding environment and community to obtain individuals who are connected to the local environment and serve it.

Examples of activities that fall under community service include distributing food baskets to underprivileged families in Mosul and organizing Iftar meals for students in dormitories.
