Continuous education contributes to the creation of suitable capabilities and means to keep up with rapid cognitive and technological advancements in order to serve society and bring it to the ranks of advanced communities.
The Continuous Education Unit is one of the administrative units affiliated with the College of Education for Humanities at the University of Mosul. It focuses on supporting scientific activities and events desired by faculty members and researchers, such as seminars, workshops, and courses.
The main objectives and tasks of the unit include:
- Training academic and research staff at all levels, developing their skills, and enhancing their competence.
- Keeping pace with theoretical and applied research developments.
- Communication and exchange of experiences between academic institutions of the university and educational institutions in the local community.
- Developing the annual plan for the college’s activities, including conferences, seminars, courses, workshops, study circles, and counseling programs.
- Compiling data about each course, seminar, or conference, including the title, number of participants, and a summary of the topic, and sending it to the university.
- Providing certificates of appreciation to participants in courses and conferences.
