A master thesis was discussed at the Department of Shari’a/ The College of Islamic Sciences at the University of Mosul entitled (Al-Matlub Al-Wafi Sharh Kanz An-Nasafi by Sheikh Muhammad bin Salman Al-Rihawi (d. 1158 AH) From the Beginning of the Book of Divorce to the End of the Chapter on Vow of Continence – Study and Investigation) on Sunday, August 14, 2022, part of which was attended by Prof. Dr. Taha Hammad Mukhlif, Dean of the College, Assistant Professor Dr. Thabet Mahdi Hamadi, Associate Dean for Administrative and Financial Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr. Ahmed Ibrahim Ismail, Head of the Shari’a Department, and a number of the faculty’s staff members.The thesis submitted by the student (Bashar Jamil Shami Muhammad) at the Shari’a Department dealt with the investigation of the manuscript (Al-Matlub Al-Wafi Sharh Kanz An-Nasafi by Sheikh Muhammad bin Salman Al-Rihawi (d. 1158 AH)). The study highlights the manuscript as a resource of help for students of Hanafi jurisprudence because of its importance and as a great addition to the Hanafi library.The panel was chaired by Assistant Professor Dr. Muthanna Aref Daoud and the membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Nizar Ali Abd and Assistant Professor Dr. Firas Saadoun Fadel, and under the supervision and membership of Assistant Professor Dr. Ramadan Hamdoun Ali.
