University of Mosul College of Medicine Launches Awareness Campaign to Reduce Suicide and Promote Mental Health

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine, Prof. Dr. Humam Ghanim Ibraahim, the Media and Government Communication Division at the College of Medicine distributed awareness brochures titled “Reducing Suicide” on Tuesday, April 14, 2026.

The campaign aims to raise awareness of the importance of mental health, introduce suicide prevention mechanisms, and promote a culture of community support.
