In line with the College of Medicine’s policy of promoting community service and instilling a culture of voluntary work, the College’s Voluntary Work Committee organized a humanitarian and voluntary visit to the Dialysis Center at Ibn Sina Teaching Hospital, with the participation of a number of students.

The purpose of the visit was to review the patients’ conditions and needs, as part of the college’s community service policy.
During the visit, financial assistance was provided to a number of needy patients with kidney failure, in a voluntary initiative aimed at alleviating the burdens they face.

This initiative stems from the college’s commitment to establishing a culture of voluntary work and enhancing the spirit of cooperation, as well as supporting humanitarian and health efforts in the community. It reflects the college’s commitment to its mission of serving society and promoting the values of giving and voluntary work among its students and staff.

This initiative aligns with several Sustainable Development Goals, most notably:
Goal 3: Good Health and Well-being
Goal 1: No Poverty through providing financial assistance to those in need
Goal 10: Reduced Inequalities
In addition to Goal 17: Partnerships for the Goals through cooperation between the college and health institutions to serve the community.
