Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Waheed Mahmoud Al-Ibrahimi, and under the supervision of the Dean of the College of Medicine/University of Mosul, Prof. Dr. Humam Ghanim Ibraahim, the University Psychological Counseling Division at the College of Medicine held a training course titled “Early Detection of Breast Tumors” in collaboration with the Department of Studies and Planning – Sustainable Development Unit at the University of Mosul, and as part of the Continuing Education activities.

The lecture was delivered by Asst. Prof. Dr. Marwa Mohammad Saleh Salman on April 9, 2026, in Al-Kindi Hall. The course targeted students, faculty members, and staff, and aimed to enable participants to understand the theoretical and practical foundations and radiological examinations related to the early detection of breast tumors.

The course achieved the Sustainable Development Goals of Quality Education, Good Health and Well-being, Reduced Inequalities, and Partnerships for the Goals.
