College of Medicine

Under the patronage and attendance of the President of Nineveh University, Prof Dr Muzahim Q. al-Khayyat, in the presence of the two Vice- President of Nineveh University, and the two Deans of the Colleges of Medicine of Mosul and Nineveh Universities, Assistant Prof Dr Hazim Kh. al-Allaf, and the Assistant Professor Dr Osama I. al-Mashhadani; the Department of Paediatric of the College of Medicine at the University of Nineveh held the Medical Symposium entitled “Constipation in Children” on Tuesday 17 December 2019. The symposium consisted of two scientific sessions, where the first was chaired by the Professor of Paediatrics, College of Medicine, University of Nineveh, Prof Dr Fares B. al-Sawaf, while the second was chaired by the head of the Department of Paediatrics, College of Medicine, University of Mosul, Assistant Professor Dr Riyad A. al-Obaidi, and by two lectures for each scientific session. The end of each session was followed by questions and discussions by the attendees that enriched the topics. In the same vein, the representative of al-Hikma Pharmaceutical Company (the sponsor of the symposium) delivered the company speech. The symposium was attended by the Vice- Dean for the Scientific Affairs, Assistant Professor Dr Humam Gh. I. Zubeer, most of the heads, rapporteurs, teaching staff of the scientific departments, and the officials of scientific units of the medical colleges of the Mosul and Nineveh universities alike.
