College of Medicine

Under the patronage of the President of the University of Mosul, Prof Dr Qusay K. al-Ahmadi and in the presence of Vice- President for Scientific Affairs Dr Zakaria Y. al-Jammal, and a number of deans of the colleges including, the Dean of the College of Medicine and Pharmacy Assistant Professor Dr Hazim Kh. al-Allaf, and the lecture Dr Harith Kh. al-Qazzaz; the College of Pharmacy held the scientific symposium entitled “New trends in the discovery of medicines and medicinal plants” on Wednesday, 18 December 2019. The symposium consisted of two parts: the first part was the scientific research session, in which three lectures were given. Whereas the second part of the scientific poster session included explanations of these summaries, delivering of shields and participant certificates. Among the attendees were an elite of teaching staff from the medical colleges of Mosul and Nineveh universities both current and retired alike.
